Terms of service

These terms apply when you use aniq.novafortress.my (“the site”), the personal website of Aniq Najmuddin. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What the site is

The site shows my work, my resume, my writing and ways to contact me. It is provided for information only. Nothing on it is professional advice, and no service, account or purchase is offered here.

Content and copyright

Unless stated otherwise, the text, images and design of the site belong to me. You may link to any page and quote short parts with credit and a link back. Please ask before copying larger parts. You are welcome to follow the blog through its RSS feed in your own feed reader.

Code snippets in blog posts may be reused freely in your own projects, unless a post says otherwise. They are provided as is, without any guarantee that they will work in your situation.

Project names, logos and screenshots of third-party products shown in my work belong to their owners.

My resume and CV

You may download, print and share my resume when considering me for a role. My full CV is shared through a private link meant only for the person I sent it to. Please use it only for recruiting, keep it within your hiring process, and do not publish it or the personal details in it. I may withdraw a link at any time.

Using the contact form and email

Please use the contact form and my email addresses for genuine messages only. Do not use them to send:

• spam, advertising or automated messages,
• anything unlawful, abusive or threatening,
• malicious links or files, or attempts to attack the site,
• someone else’s name or email address without their permission.

The forms are rate limited, and I may block addresses or traffic that abuse them. How your details are handled is explained in the privacy policy.

Blog emails

You can subscribe to get new posts by email. Only subscribe with an address that is yours. You can unsubscribe at any time from the link in any of these emails. I may end a subscription, for example if emails to that address keep failing.

Acceptable use

Do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or the server it runs on, including the admin area. Sign-in attempts are recorded. If you find a security problem, I would be grateful if you emailed hello@novafortress.my before sharing it publicly.

Links to other sites

The site links to other websites, such as code repositories and social profiles. I am not responsible for their content or how they handle your data.

No warranty

I run this site on my own hardware and try to keep it accurate and available, but it is provided “as is”. It may be offline at times, and I do not guarantee that everything on it is complete or up to date. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss that comes from using the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.

Changes and contact

I may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Questions are welcome at hello@novafortress.my.
