Final-year Network Engineering student at Universiti Malaysia Sabah and KPT-PCP scholar. I design and secure networks, from Zero Trust access to the self-hosted homelab this page runs on, and build the software, IoT and AI pieces around them.

1. Volunteer developer, KAFA Masjid Al-A’laaJun 2026 to now

   Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

   Built the school's management system as the full-stack developer of a university SULAM team, and have maintained it as a volunteer since the course ended, from security hardening to new features.

   • Architected the application infrastructure by building reliable Docker deployment stacks for the administrative portal.
   • Streamlined the system's initial setup by configuring automated database seeders.
   • Authored comprehensive user manuals to facilitate seamless onboarding and training for school staff.
   • Maintained continuous system uptime post-deployment while executing security hardening protocols and shipping new features.

2. IT Technician, Tulip Resources Sdn BhdAug 2026 to Oct 2026

   Kuala Lumpur

   Full-time for three months during my semester break, on the network side of two government infrastructure projects.

   • IT infrastructure rollout for a government defence client: supported VPN connectivity during testing and deployment, installed VPN client certificates on end-user devices, and trained users on the new centralised system.
   • Roadside traffic monitoring and enforcement network for a government agency: site surveys, network cabling and racking equipment in roadside units across about 10 sites.
   • Tested the links from each roadside site to a central command centre over Peplink cellular routers, and monitored subcontractors' civil works such as road resurfacing and pole installation.

3. Network Support Trainee, PKT Logistics Group Sdn BhdJan 2023 to Jun 2023

   Shah Alam, Selangor

   Six-month industrial training for my diploma.

   • Configured Aruba and HPE switches, and Aruba, Ruckus, EnGenius and Cisco wireless access points.
   • Supported a major network migration at headquarters and the Peninsula network upgrade, including on-site assessments at One Auto Hub and Kulim Logistics Hub.
   • Monitored and maintained the network, set up servers for security systems, and worked with Windows Server and AWS.
   • Gave end-user support (laptop setup, domain joining, application deployment) and mentored new interns on switches and access points.
   • Completed Fortinet NSE 1, 2 and 3 during the training and attended AWS cloud training.

4. School management system2026

   A 29-module school management system for KAFA Masjid Al-A'laa Lokub, in production for more than 80 students. I built the full stack in about a month as part of a university service-learning (SULAM) project.
